For her thesis work, DeBlaey created a woven sculpture that has be manufactured to age and deteriorate. DeBlaey has weaved in holes and wire, and has used a process of oxidation to make the sculpture look like it will continue to deteriorate and fall apart. This is meant to challenge society?s value in preservation and show what our bodies go through everyday
