Summary
In her thesis work, Peyton explores the process of making objects rather than just producing images as a painter/drawer. Peyton built her thesis around identifying rituals, and has used that knowledge to create a brand and product that helps “promote ritual on a projected scale.” Peyton named the brand Ma and has created The Ritual Rug, a hand-woven rug that can be used for yoga, meditation, or the user?s own ideas of rituals. The items used to make the rug are meant to be sustainable, so Peyton used organic cotton and hemp
