Summary
In his thesis project, Bergstrom used molds to cast epoxy resin impressions of stones and then imbedded them with lights. This unusual source of light becomes the illuminating agent for the more complex sculptures that focus on the convergence of line and form. This is achieved by the use of metal wire, graphic images, and text. The metal wires are bend to represent molecular structures and Bergstrom even created an algorithm to achieve their look
