Summary
In her thesis work, Aube has created a cloak and embroidered map that represents the stalking, sexual assault, and harassment she has experienced while walking. Inspired by fantasy stories, she uses these objects to tell her own story. The cloak is made of velour and has black embroidery detail. The hand embroidered map is made of linen and shows all the places Aube walked in the past year. Aube uses the embroidery as a way to confront her fears of street harassment and meditate on her experiences
