Summary
Arrison explores the intersection between industrial production and craft in her work. She uses the process of reappropriating ordinary objects by making molds in plaster, slip-casting them, and transforms them into housewares with a different function. The artist leaves behind the semantic arguments of how ceramics fits into art, craft and design, and focuses her work in new directions, utilizing traditional and industrial methods
